Sector 9 Joel pro mini

The Sector 9 Joel pro mini longboard is the perfect match for anyone that needs something compact and nimble. The Joel pro mini is pretty the most fun of the sector 9 line to slash bowls, ramps, and even ditches. with enough room for even 70 mm wheels even the roughest of terrain feels minimal when you have some big shock absorbing wheels on. The double kicktail on this board not only makes it more appealing, but always serves greatly for getting off of those pesky curbs that you would otherwise have to scrape your board on the corner of. The Joel pro mini longboard will be a great gift this upcoming christmas whether it's for yourself or another.

Sector 9 Swift Mini

Ah yes, finally! Someone FINALLY wised up and made a mini pintail longboard. All the sexiness of the bigger version just in a smaller, more compact, and more versatile package. The biggest downfall to pintails for years was simply the fact that they were too big for a lot of people and now the swift has all of the great cruising style and flowy carving feel of the larger versions in something that can easily fit in a locker. I absolutely love the  the Sector 9 Swift mini longboard and I'm certain just one step on this board and you'll love it yourself.

Sector 9 The Wedge

What's not to love about boards that can easily be stashed away in college students like ourselves houses. With our tiny little 8x12 rooms or even smaller dorms it can be quite a hassle finding storage, luckily for us Sector 9 longboarding has all the answers. Enter The Sector 9 Wedge! A great little campus cruiser with double kicktails that can be used for grinds, flips, or even taking that slightly hard to turn otherwise corner. Who knows maybe one day someone will trip in front of you and that ollie could really save your bacon!

The Sector 9 Steady mini

The Sector 9 Steady mini is an amazing longboard that can handle anything you throw at it. The double kicktails make it awesome for around, busting out kickflips, manuals, and tail slides whenever you please. What I love most about the steady mini is probably the most obvious of things to love about it and that's its size. It's perfect for stowing away in the back seat of a car without taking up space and even hiding away in bushes, when heading out to the local swimming hole. No matter what application you use it for the 83 will have your back.

Sector 9 The 83 mini longboard

The Sector 9 83 longboard is a great mini longboard for just about anything you put it to besides big hills, which I don't recommend doing at all, just take it from me. I love this mini and most other options and in my opinion they're the most amusing of all boards to ride unfortunately they're the only boards that can't take to what I love most about setting foot on board. If you don't have that need for speed though then hitting the park, slashing ditches, and even ramps are all an option with the 83.

Sector 9 Liquid Metal mini longboard

The Sector 9 Liquid metal is just about as durable as normal metal  but you know, wooden. The Liquid metal sports a double kicktail for a little bit of fun in the streets as well as the ability to pop off of and onto curbs, hand grabs and all that jazz. With deep cut wheel wells and an old school longboard mold you really can't go wrong with this guy. If you don't know what to get your kids this christmas then look no further than the Liquid metal.

Sector 9 Nugget mini longboard complete

The Sector 9 Nugget is a great mini longboard that is super nimble and great for getting around town, hitting the store for some groceries, or even heading out to the river to grab up some nuggets of your own. The nuggets size makes it great for stashing away in lockers or your trunk when parking is hard to find. The double kicktails also add a ton of versatility, the uses for the nug are almost endless and can be applied to almost anything you feel. It makes the perfect gift and even better one for yourself.

Sector 9 Floater

The Sector 9 Floater is a great board for all of you college kids out there that need something to get from class to class and make it back home in time for whatever you have planned for the night, it's even great for picking up a six pack along the way. The Floater by Sector 9 Longboards is honestly the perfect size, small but not small enough to feel like your foot is swallowing up the board. The swallow tail adds some style points and still feels extremely useful when curbs and ledges come into play. It even has a nose kick for some sweet nose mannys or whatever else you can think of.

Sector 9 Secrets mini longboard

The Sector 9 Secrets is perfect for stashing away in your locker or bookbag with no paranoia of smacking people with your overly sized board as you walk by. The short wheel base longboard on the Secret makes it perfect for weaving in and out of foot traffic and can even be thrown in the bush before the campus police even know a thing (we do not condone this behavior and Boards on Nord is not responsible for any trouble that the Sector 9 Secrets may get you into).

Sector 9 Roxanne Downhill longboard complete

The Sector 9 Roxanne Downhill longboard complete is a great downhill longboard for beginners and seasoned veterans alike.  The ever so renowned race concave that Sector 9 longboards has perfected over the years never fails to please riders of all sorts as it keeps you locked in around the corners, pikes, and hairpins, that you feel as soon as you set foot on it. A large wheelbase for extra stability and smooth slides will keep you wanting more. If speed and control is something you crave, then Roxanne is always down for a good time.

Sector 9 Brandy 2012 edition

The Sector 9 Brandy 2012 edition downhill longboard is the perfect setup for any downhill longboard rider looking for something that can handle the hills with no draw backs aside from a pointed nose that could potentially be curbed pretty hard. But if you have confidence which you will as soon as you set foot on this bad lady, there will be no problems. Sporting decently sized wheel wells and a wonderfully big wheelbase, this board is a straight up rocket ship, with a concave that will keep you locked in when shedding speed or taking that corner you just couldn't on other boards.

Sector 9 Daisy 2012 longboard

The 2012 Sector 9 Daisy is a great board for both downhill riding and freeriding longboarding. This was actually one of my first downhill longboard decks and I absolutely love the little kicktail leaving plenty of space for your stance and something to have a little fun with on your way back home. The Daisy has nicely cnc'd wheel wells that easily support 70mm wheels and the full dip color is always plus although it can potentially chip off really easily if you're a hard rider, just adding that little bit of extra character so there's no mistaking that you shred. Who buys a board for the graphic anyways? And even if you do it has one lovely little pinup lady that no man would deny riding.

Sector 9 Mini daisy downhill longboard

The Sector 9 Mini Daisy comes with everything you need in a board to hit the hills safely and add your own flair to whatever corners you're taking. This board comes with nicely ground wheel wells to support whatever size wheel you need, as well as a kicktail for when you need it around town. A lot of people buy downhill longboards without kicktails and then get left stranded in the streets when its their only board because its just not built for riding around town. The Mini Daisy hits all the aspects you'll need as an all in one board with a size that you can even hit up the park with.

Sector 9 Bert Pintail dancer

The Sector 9 Bert Pintail is probably the biggest board we have in the shop at the moment and it's probably the best dancing setup we have for the price. The Bert pintail longboard offers a whole 48" of board to play around on, it's almost the same size as the bhangra I'm riding right now with no kicktails meaning much more effective foot space, and the bhangra already has plenty. Named after the surfing god Larry Bertleman that invented the steezy slide that so many skaters use in traditional longboarding today you really can't go wrong with it.

Sector 9 Super Tubes longboard complete

The Sector 9 Super Tubes longboard complete is one monster of a board to ride around, however all that extra room leaves enough room for dancing and cruising with no worries about a crack or rock ever kicking you off. I personally ride a 48" longboard myself and absolutely love it even though it can be a little bit of a hassle to carry around all the time. The best part about it is throwing it up in the corner and never having to worry about it being stolen because its just too huge to  be taken without your knowing. I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner as your first board, but the super tubes is a great investment as a backup board for having some fun.

Sector 9 Voyager longboard complete

The Sector 9 Voyager longboard complete is a really laid back cruising and carving longboard. The wheel cutouts make it easy to throw on 70mm and go for a quick cruise around the town with no worries of wheelbite. No matter where you're voyaging too the voyager will go with you all while coming in under $150 unless you get some pro equipment.

Sector 9 Green machine

I personally think that the sector 9 Green machine is a little awkward feeling but I actually have two friends that own them and they seem to love them. The Green machine has a very functional kicktail that makes it great for popping off of curbs, kicking up your board or in my friends case hustling kids at the skatepark thinking they can't kickflip it, haha. The Green Machine Longboard is a really fun ride but I wouldn't use it outside of carving and cruising.

Sector 9 Ledger longboard

The Sector 9 Ledger  is a great pintail longboard that can be whatever you make it. It's pretty minimalistic as far as boards go it's simply just a pintail with a taco mold that is great for everyday cruising/dancing. However with a little more research online you can turn your pintail into whatever you want really. A speedboard, a slalom board, or just use it for what it was meant for and make your way through town without a spending a cent on gas no matter how you play it the ledger is a card you want in your hand.

Sector 9 Sentinel II bamboo

A better rendition of Sector 9 longboards original Sentinel The Sector 9 Sentinel II is going to be an even better addition to your longboard collection if you don't already have one. The Sentinel II provides a better and more compact foot platform then the original sentinel that while it wasn't all that tedious had to have a bit of wider stance for it. The Sentinel II makes you feel more comfortable in a normal stance with the same turning and smooth riding that the original had to offer.

Sector 9 Sentinel longboard

The Sector 9 Sentinel is going to be a great gift for the holidays with its symmetrical shape and beautifully tapered tips it's going to be damn near impossible to wheelbite no matter how loose your kingpins are even with the sidewinders on. With the nicely cambered flex and drop through mounting making for easier pushing and giving a lower center of gravity to better throw your weight around for carves this sidewinder longboard is going to make a great gift for some very lucky person, or even yourself.

Sector 9 Lookout Bamboo

The Sector 9 Lookout bamboo longboard is a great drop through longboard that allows for much easier pushing, and can even be taken out for some mid speed freeriding due to its lower center gravity making it much easier to break loose even at lower speeds. The best part about this board is not only can it take to the hills a tad but it's extremely comfortable for just pushing around town and with the dampening blessing that bamboo has bestowed upon the longboarding world even the roughest  terrain suddenly isn't so rough anymore.

Sector 9 Shoots bamboo sidewinder

The Sector 9 Shoots bamboo sidewinder is a great board that allows a much wider turn radius then most other boards in its class. I  absolutely love the drop through sidewinder feel as it keep you lower to the ground for easier pushing instead of the normal double kingpin top mount longboard, AND I LOVE TOP MOUNTS. I absolutely swear by them but with sidewinders it totally justifies being dropped through. With the natural flex and dampening of bamboo, this is one smooth ride.

Sector 9 R.A.W. bamboo

This is a board I can really get behind since I started out with the classic pintail shape and I honestly think any beginner longboarders really should and take the time to really get down the basics. It may seem a little archaic but these boards are what really started it all, and you can set them up to be used for anything I even chopped mine into a speed board for awhile when I didn't have the money for one. These boards have absolutely no limit you can even buy sicktails for tricks or add extra griptape pieces on top to make a faux concave, no matter how you ride you can find a way to modify longboards like the  Sector 9 R.A.W.

Sector 9 A.E.V. longboard

The Sector 9 A.E.V. is quite a weird one, just looking at it can be a little intimidating with how pointy it is. I myself  tend to shop the ends of pointed longboards but some really like the tapered feeling. Aside from aesthetic, the A.E.V. performs well at what its made to do and that's push with comfort, while the board can feel a little unwieldy when using the kicktail at first due to its size it's really helpful getting you off of curbs and taking otherwise impossible turns once you find its center.

Sector 9 Rhythm Bamboo longboard

The Sector 9 Rhythm Bamboo longboard is a great go to longboard cruiser that anyone would be happy to have at their side. The Camber along with low concave adds to that surfy feel that you get when out hitting a wave. The preload and unload on this board going into and out of carves is a quality ride you can only expect from a reputable brand such as Sector 9. I love this board set up with my randalls with my double cone soft bushing setup and slalom wheels to give that extra grip when carving.

Sector 9 Swamis kicktail mini longboard

The Sector 9 Swamis is a great mini board for all you campus longboard riders out there, just due to the versatility of the kicktail and short wheelbase. Not to mention that this bad boy probably weighs all of MAYBE 5 pounds with everything on it. The deep cut wheel wells leave enough room for about 70mm wheel and could easily add a 75mm with risers. This board is extremely useful in just about any situation just try to stray away from any huge hills if possible.

Sector 9 Fractal: Carver of the year

While this board isn't meant for any crazy downhill longboarding experiences this board is quite a blast at 25 mph and under, and honestly people like me working 3 jobs really can't afford to hit those higher speeds or pay those hospital bills, so I tend to squeeze as much fun in as possible and the Sector 9 Fractal definitely makes that possible. With a fun, and playful flex this board can change lanes in a split second and have you feeling like you're catching a huge wave every push you take.

Sector 9 Fraction slalom sidewinder

The Sector 9 Fraction slalom sidewinder is a great longboard for people who have to have a reliable cruiser for getting around ton especially those busier streets in the bigger cities. The extra turn radius from the trucks it comes equipped with will help avoid traffic both on foot and on wheels, as well as the slalom wheels it's recommended with for extra grip and control when doing so. The Fraction is a very straightforward cruiser with nice flex and high turning capability with a little bit of flair, and the sidewinders are always a great way to spark a conversation. If you need something for getting around or just plain cutting loose after school or work then have no fear, the Fraction is here.

Sector 9 Sandblaster sidewinder

The Sector 9 Sandblaster sidewinder is a great board specifically designed for gullwing trucks own sidewinders. This board sports nice tapered ends so even with the harsh turning radius of the trucks you wont be biting the edges or be getting bucked off the board unexpectedly. The Lowered ride height with the drop through longboard deck also makes the otherwise harsh riding much easier to push all while retaining the amazing turn radius. Add in a nice snappy, and responsive flex you're good to go.

Sector 9 Chamber sidewinder longboard

The Sector 9 Chamber is a great addition to anyones longboarding arsenal epecially if you don't have a board that's just designed for cruising and carving. There's nothing quite like having all of that turning potential when riding to work, school, or even just going for a joy ride! If you've ever been surfing this about the closest thing you're going to get as far as being on land goes, these were designed to give the same feel and fluidity that you get when going out and hitting a huge wave. If you don't have a huge need for speed the Chamber is sure to please.

Sector 9 Nica

The Sector 9 Nica is a great cruiser and carver that can even take to the hills if you so please. Its not exactly optimal to be using a pintail shape downhill but I find that it builds up your true downhill potential really quickly due to it not really being best suited for it, not to mention the slight flex will help build that ankle strength and keep you glued to those hills when it matters most when you upgrade. Aside from being a nice downhill skill builder, this longboard is the ultimate cruiser and can get you around town or back and forth from the store without a worry in the world.

Sector 9 Madeira bamboo longbaord

The Sector 9 Madeira bamboo Longboard is not only a real catch with all of the people trying to save the planet. But also happens to be quite a hit with the ladies when riding down the street. If there's one thing I can attest to its that the classic pintail shape also gets a lot of looks and questions asked by people of every sort, even if they look like a typical skater hater. The Madeira longboard skateboard is all about saving that extra wood, and looking good while doing it.

Sector 9 Soup Bowls mini cruiser

Ah yes, the Sector 9 Soup bowls. This cute and spunky little longboard cruiser is quite the blast to ride around on just getting to class and riding to and from the market, let alone just going out for a joyride. I absolutely love boards this size because the streets can get a little bit busy sometimes and the shorter wheelbase makes weaving through traffic nothing but a thang. You can now catch Snoop on his Soup Bowl mini sippin' on gin and juice.

Sector 9 Striker sidewinder review

While I do love my Striker sidewinder, I feel that many aren't informed of the beauty of the ever so amazing gullwing sidewinders. The striker is a great longboard within itself but the trucks are what really brings it all together, its like a bag of french fries. Sure the potatoes alone are great but the salt and ketchup (or ranch) really make it worth biting into. The double kingpin trucks an seem a little gimmicky but she's a definite keeper, allowing for twice the normal range of motion compared to a normal truck along with twice the responsiveness. If nimble and sharp carves are something you can get down with then definitely give these a go.

Sector 9 Horizon Sidewinder longboard complete

The Sector 9 Horizon comes equipped with gullwings state of the art sidewinder trucks that make the turn radius of your board become massively larger. Turning that hard sidewalk corner is now a possibility, that split second that a car popped out of an alleyway is now avoidable, and all thanks to the spiffy double kingpin design of the trucks on this beast of board known as the horizon. I love the sidewinder series longboard skateboards and I'm certain if you gave it a chance you will too.

Sector 9 Lagoon sidewinder

The Sector 9 Lagoon sidewinder  is a great board for just mobbing around town and having a damn good time doing it. The Flush mounting on this board is incredible giving you the best of both worlds, a lower ride for easier pushing and harder carves and the board still sits over the trucks for plenty of control over your trucks. The Lagoon has plenty of effective footspace for any rider while still being portable all the while. No matter what status you are in the longboarding community this board is sure to lend a helping hand.

Sector 9 Tempest Sidewinder series longboard

The Sector 9 Tempest is a great cruiser and carving longboard than can turn on a dime with absolutely no problem. These boards are extremely responsive and feel like an extension of your leg which is its own perk and downfall. Unfortunately the tempest isn't exactly designed for speed but if you're staying under 25 mph an hour best know you're going to be having the time of your life. If a lively ride is something you crave then the Tempest is for you.

Sector 9 Hot Steppa completed longboard

The Sector 9 Hot Steppa should've been named da hard carva but hey, I don't name 'em I just write about them. Lame jokes aside, this board is extremely nimble with its sidewinder setup that it was designed for. I can't really tell you why these decks are so much better set up with the sidewinders they come with but other trucks on a board like the steppa just ain't happenin'.  If thowin' down some fiery carves around town is your gig then look no further then tha steppa longboard skateboard.

Sector 9 Drifter longboard

The Sector 9 Drifter is one of Sector 9's best commuter/carving longboards, it has a smooth and soft flex that won't go bouncing you off every time you hit a crack in the road.  The best part of this board is the drop through mounting working with the flex to create what could only be explained as the Cadillac of longboards. The drifter is especially nice for all of you daily commuters out there that ride on those roads that stiffer longboards just can't handle. If a smooth sailing ride is what you desire than don't drift far from the drifter.

Sector 9 Feast complete longboard

The Sector 9 Feast complete longboard is a great addition to anyone's longboarding quiver. This is an exceptional downhill/freeride board that is also pretty comfortable for the daily grind whatever that may be. It's great for pushing around due to its low ride height from the drop through mounting. While I'm personally not the biggest fan of drop throughs, a lot of people swear by it and definitely shred a lot harder than I do. Whether you're just beginning or need a new board from having them wear from the wind rushing past, this is a great go to deck.

Sector 9 Seeker: 39 inches of awesome

The Sector 9 Seeker is a great carving and cruising longboard that has just the perfect amount of flex and responsiveness just right before the point of squirreliness. What a lot of board makers do is make the flex almost 'soggy' feeling and that's just not good, unless you like bottoming out everywhere you ride. However the Seeker pulled off the snappiness really well and is really a board worth buying. Everyone I have ever recommended this longboard skateboard to absolutely loves theirs, and if taking some lusciously smooth turns with a great pre-load and unload sparks a fire in you then I think you may just have yourself a winner.

Sector 9 Mini Shaka longboard complete

The Sector 9 Mini Shaka longboard complete is a great example of how size doesn't matter. Yea it's a little bit smaller but it's the motion of the ocean right? If you said no then you're definitely wrong, the double kicks on this bad boy of a longboard make for a terribly great amount of fun cruising around town. With some extra concave for some spicier foot pockets and a little over a half inch of rocker for some lower gravity make throwing this little guy around a bit easier and is without a doubt one of my favorites I have on standby.

Sector 9 Fault line: The summit smasher

The Fault line by Sector 9 is a great downhill/freeride longboard that can take to the hills with no problem, and I mean hell if Rachael Rayne is tearing it up on one then you know it has to be good. II have a terrible fondness of top mount boards and this is no exception. There's nothing better than feeling absolutely in control of what you're riding and the Fault line is a perfect example of that. I think it's a great beginners board because it's not JUST geared for downhill riding and is also quite comfy for getting around town, if you need a board that do more than just smash hills at insane speeds this one's for you.

S9 Carbon Flight: Made by Longboarders for Longboarders

The Sector 9 Carbon flight isn't just one of your average everyday sector 9 longboards, it's a board that sends anyone who rides it back to the old school downhill roots. Sure there's no real perk to having a directional board but not everyone likes doing all of the fancy 180's and pendulums. Some of us just like taking to the hills without a care and feeling the wind rush past us and watch as the world becomes a panoramic blur. The Carbon flight is a great downhill board especially for beginners that don't need to do those tricks and just need to get shedding speed and cornering down first.

Sector 9 Rocker longboard complete

The Sector 9 Rocker longboard complete is perfect for anyone looking to bomb even the most serious of hills. The Rocker has an awesome symmetrical design so no matter what end of the bed you woke up on that day you'll always be riding on the right end of your board, this makes it super easy to  bust out 180's at will and keeps the tedious act of always flipping your board around out of the question. The Truck mounts are also recessed into the board for a lower riding surface without fully compromising the control over your trucks. The Rocker is a great addition to anyones longboarding quiver especially if you ever have the urge to hit some hills or slide around a bit.

Dropper by Sector 9

What many longboarders are uninformed of is despite their different names the dropper is simply a larger version of the sprocket. I personally really enjoy the Dropper because it fits my style a little bit more, I enjoy the extra footspace and the extra resistance when busting out tricks, while the sprocket adheres to smaller riders. This board comes with awesome cutouts, amazing gas pedals, and a tapered waist that makes pushing as easy as cutting through warm butter with a hot knife. If there was only one deck for any longboarder out there I would recommend it would be the Sector 9 Dropper because it can really do anything you put it up to.

Sector 9 Sprocket longboard

The Sector 9 Sprocket is a perfect all around board that can get you around town in a flash, lay down some hot slides in a second, or having you chilling for a minute just roaming from point A to point B. There's nothing better than a longboard that can keep you entertained all the way to point B and be comfortable on the ride back. While I have not personally ridden the Sprocket I have ridden many a S9 like it and it's something I love having in my arsenal of boards, sometimes you just wanna do it all in one day, and its boards like this that deliver just that.

Sector 9's Ireland bamboo Deck

Sector 9's Sweet taste of Ireland gives a fresh new look on the old and stale simple pintail shape. The Ireland bamboo longboarding deck comes with a nicely cut swallow tail on the back to add some sweet flair and no one can argue with the rustic maple bottom with the awesome irish shores seemingly washing up right in front of your very eyes. Aside from sheer aesthetics, this board is an amazing longboarding cruiser and can even be set up for awesome carves. Even the pickiest of lads won't have a thing to argy bargy about once they get their hands on this.

Sector 9 G-Land longboard complete

The Sector 9 G-land Longboard complete is an awesome all around cruiser that can get you from point A to point B with no worries, as well as provide enough effective foot space to dance around on if you're feeling bored. This longboards pintail shape can be a little cliche but don't let that stop you from buying it, The G-land is perfect for any minimalist, that just needs the bare minimum but still wants to be rolling around town in style.

Sector 9 Slingshot longboard

The Sector 9 slingshot is an amazing freeride/freestyle board that can take just about anything you throw at it. The double kicktails add a really fun element in that you can bust out pop shuvits, manuals, or even some moves for the ladies a.k.a. TIGER CLAWS. This board is extremely fun to take around town and show off your stuff as well as take on a relaxing ride on the weekend flying solo into the sunset. Whether it be for fun or flash the Slingshot provides it all at a low price.
